In 1870, John Alexander White opened the doors to White's Marble Works with a simple chisel and a vision: to serve his community with craftsmanship that stood the test of time. What began as a humble workshop dedicated to hand-carved marble monuments has evolved over seven generations into a premier multimillion-dollar custom countertop destination.
Today, we honor our roots by continuing to produce one-of-a-kind monuments while leading the industry in modern stone surfaces. At our Sweetwater headquarters, CEO Matt White and his daughter, Kristen Locklear, lead our high-end custom countertop division. Meanwhile, our heritage lives on in Madisonville, where Executive VP Allen White oversees our monument division, continuing our 156-year tradition of creating one-of-a-kind memorials.
